Smokin’ The Coast is back — and this year, it’s shaping up to be one of the most meaningful weekends on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. 🌴🔥
Hosted by the Crew of Neptune and the Trident Foundation, Smokin’ The Coast is a two-day BBQ competition on the Biloxi Great Lawn, right across from Harrah’s. Sure, there’s great food, cold drinks, live music, and friendly competition — but at the heart of it is something deeper:
💛 This event helps families here at home.
The money raised supports local disaster relief, kids facing medical challenges, and neighbors rebuilding after storms. When the Coast needs help, these folks show up — trucks loaded, smokers running.
🎃 Friday Night: Halloween on the Lawn
Friday night is all about the kids.
The idea came straight from the pitmasters — the same people who have hauled smokers into storm zones to feed whole neighborhoods. When they realized Smokin’ The Coast fell on Halloween weekend, they said:
“Let’s make Friday night for the kids.”
So that’s exactly what’s happening.
The Great Lawn turns into a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat village — except instead of minivans, the kids get to walk up to full BBQ rigs decorated with lights, costumes, and candy. 🍭🎃
